Pictures Coming

I know that this is probably pretty boring without pictures. I thought I had some on my desktop but apparently I was wrong. That never happens! I really need to be working but I am trying to build connections so I figured I should probably post something else so you don't get bored.

Today was a decent day. I actually woke up before my alarm. My cleaning person came (my back and knees thank me for that even though some people give me a hard time for having one,) and I got finances a little more figured out. I am reading Paging the Dead by Brynn Bonner. It's a murder mystery and the victim was having the town's Genealogists trace her family so of course they get involved in solving the murder. It is the author's first book and the first half or so has been pretty good.

Most people who know me really well know that I enjoy reading. When I get the library cleaned up, I will be posting a picture. One wall has built in shelves and as soon as I saw it, I was sold on the house. (No, not the only reason, but it was up there.) Anyway, I get the library's weekly newsletter that lists the book they've ordered. Anything that sounds good, as well as new releases by my favorite authors that I don't want to buy, gets put on my hold list. When I go in, I have to pass by the new books. I cannot just walk by. I have to look. I have had 39 books out at one time I think. No, I know you can't read that many, but I think I'm afraid that someone else will get one that sounded good and I will forget about it if I don't grab it. One of the built in shelves has my library books and the rest and 4 large and one small bookshelf have my collection. To be fair, the built ins have my romance collection I want to keep and the books I want to read as time allows. Some of the latter will get posted to Paperback Swap as soon as I'm done because I know I won't want to reread them, it's just that time gets away from me. I have a t-shirt that says "So Many Books, So Little Time" and it is one of my favorites.

It is getting late and I need to go make dinner. I will try to think of more interesting things to post. Today was the 2nd day in a row that I've felt well, I really hope the picking up I did won't make me crash tomorrow. I do plan to talk more about this disease in future posts.

Chronic pain! How do you explain chronic pain to your family and friends? | Patient Talk

Chronic pain! How do you explain chronic pain to your family and friends? | Patient Talk

This is also a topic that is very important to me. I need to work on communicating better with my Mom.
So I decided to start blogging since my health is up and down. I'm trying to do what I can to get things back on track but it is very frustrating. Pictures will come later.

I'm 36 and have lived in Arizona for a little over 7 years. I was born in Nebraska and have lived in Connecticut and Massachusetts as well. I enjoy talking to people online and meeting all sorts of people. I am single with two cats who are my babies. I know some people can relate to that. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about a year and a half ago and I've been trying to adjust to new symptoms over the last few months. The fatigue is the most frustrating for me.

I love reading and playing Chefville and Song Pop on facebook. I also love listening to music. My favorites are country and show tunes. I also enjoy traveling and swimming. I used to watch a lot more tv than I do now but I am very excited for the new season of Grey's Anatomy. Some of my friends say I watch too much reality tv. I enjoy in no particular order: 19 Kids and Counting (been obsessed with the Duggars for a long time), Tia and Tamera, Tori & Dean Home Sweet Hollywood, Sister Wives just to name a few. I've gotten behind on a lot of the shows because my laptop is too slow and I don't have a tv near my desktop. Not sure what I'm going to do when the new seasons start up. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions or topics!
